Amari is a senior at South High School. She is involved in track, BSU, NHS, the Tutoring Center and serves as a boys basketball manager. Her favorite part of school are her teachers and classes, she enjoys every day and appreciates her teachers for making learning fun for her. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Kansas to study sports management. Some fun facts about her are that she loves playing games, going on walks, shopping, spending time with friends and family and she has placed at the state track meet.
Gavin is a senior at South High School. At school, he is involved in FFA, HOSA, basketball, track and NHS. His favorite part of school is the welcoming environment and how comfortable he feels asking questions in class. Outside of school, Gavin works for local campaigns. After high school, he plans to attend college and study communications and political science. A fun fact about Gavin is that he has nine ducks.
Kalliauna is a senior at South High School. At school, she is involved in NHS, The Peppers dance team and orchestra. Her favorite part of school is seeing her friends and attending school events. Outside of school, she works and is a part of a dance studio. After graduation, she wants to go to the University of Kansas for pre-nursing. Some fun facts about her are that she has two older brothers named Gavin and Garrett and she enjoys shopping.
Levi is a senior at South High School. At school, he is involved in band and choir. He enjoys playing in the band and getting to use the instrument he bought. Outside of school, he participates in the KWU jazz band, church choir and city band. After graduation, he plans to attend college and study criminal justice. Some fun facts about him are that he enjoys hunting, fishing, building things and working on cars.
Zoe is a senior at South High School. She is involved in cheerleading, HOSA and serves as a baseball manager. At school, her favorite subject is social studies because she enjoys learning about historical events. Outside of school, she participates in her youth group and volunteers in her church’s kids ministry. After graduation, she plans to attend Fort Hays State University to major in nursing.Some fun facts about her are that she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and watching and attending KU games.
Elle is a senior at South High School. She is involved in NHS, golf, soccer, basketball, Relay for Life and HOSA. Her favorite part of school is learning alongside her friends. She especially enjoys AP Chemistry because it’s a small class that makes learning easier, and Mrs. Ozores is very kind. Outside of school, she is active in her church youth group. After graduation, Elle plans to attend K-State to study pre-medicine and later go to medical school to become an OB-GYN. Some fun facts about her are that she spends her weekends in Manhattan watching K-State football, she loves playing basketball, reading crime novels and spending time with her friends.
Alina is a senior at South High School. In school, she is involved in orchestra, New Dawn Choir, cross country and track. Her favorite class is physics because Mrs. Cairns is fun and keeps the class interesting while helping students understand each unit. Outside of school, Alina participates in the Kansas Wesleyan University Orchestra and the Winter Soldiers running group. After graduation, she plans to attend college to study exercise science with a minor in music performance. Some fun facts about her are that she plays five instruments and has four dogs, sheep, chickens and horses.
Jose is a senior at South High School. At school, he serves as president of the debate and forensics teams, is a member of the National Honor Society and works as a math tutor. His favorite part of school is having access to resources that fuel his curiosity through classes that match his interests and help him expand his worldview. His favorite classes are debate and forensics because they allow him to have productive and respectful conversations with others. Outside of school, Jose volunteers and also has a job. After graduation, he plans to attend college and major in business. Some fun facts about him are that he loves listening to music, playing sports with friends and he has a pet chihuahua named Oreo.
Analeigh is a senior at South High School. She is involved in Scholars Bowl and serves as the Book Club president. Her favorite classes are psychology and sociology because they explore how different aspects of life shape the way people think and behave. Outside of school, she is active in her church youth group. Some fun facts about her are that she has an internship, enjoys reading and creative writing, has three siblings and one cat named Violet.
Jalee is a senior at South High School. She is involved in Stuco and is a member of the drumline. Her favorite part of school is band because it brings everyone together and creates a welcoming community. Outside of school, she participates in her church youth group. After high school, she plans to go to college and pursue either the veterinary or dental route. Some fun facts about Jalee are that she has three cats, three dogs, one older sister and one older brother and she enjoys baking and cooking.
Damon is a senior at South High School. Damon is involved in soccer and band. His favorite part about school is his medical classes. Outside of work, he is involved in his church. After high school, he plans to get his bachelors in exercise science and then get a doctorate in physical therapy. Some fun facts about Damon are that he has been playing soccer since he was five and he can do a backflip.
Aliana is a senior at South High School. She is involved in theater, color guard and band. Her favorite part of school is spending time with her friends and the connections she has made through theater. Outside of school, Aliana is active in Taylor’s Twirling, color guard and Salina theater. After high school, she plans to attend Wichita State University and major in technical theater. Some fun facts about her are that she is the youngest sibling and has a cat.

Julie is a senior at South High School. She is involved in HOSA, student council, NHS, Asian Student Union, tennis and math relays. Outside of school, she participates in Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteers with local businesses. Her favorite part of school is all the activities and opportunities offered, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Carlson. Some fun facts about her is that she loves to listen to music, go on walks and spend time with her brother, Justin. After high school, she plans to attend Wichita State University or the University of Kansas and study medical laboratory sciences or pharmacy.
Sophie is a senior at South High School. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, soccer, student council, HOSA, and the writing center. Outside of school, she plays club volleyball and enjoys volunteering. Her favorite part of school is the variety of activities and events, as well as the many opportunities to get involved.
