Week 15
Annabelle Burr
Annabelle is a senior at South High School. She enjoys connecting with her friends at school, and expanding her knowledge while gaining hands-on experiences through her medical internship class. Annabelle is a member of the band, HOSA Future Health Professionals, and National Honor Society (NHS). Beyond the classroom Annabelle dances at Tamara Howe School of Dance, takes yoga classes and
enjoys reading in her free time. After graduation, Annabelle will attend Baker University through their 3+3 chiropractic science program. This pathway will transfer her to Cleveland Chiropractic where she will complete her education and graduate as a Doctor of Chiropractic. A fun fact about Annabelle is that she has been dancing since she was three, which has instilled a love for performing on stage!

Sean Iselin |
Sean is a senior at South High School who takes pride in representing South High as a member of the football, swimming and track teams. Sean is also a member of Student Council. He enjoys connecting with his friends and peers he has known since childhood. He values Mr. and Mrs. Massey’s teaching styles, as well as his connection with Mr. Barkley. After graduation, Sean will join the dental hygienist program at Salina Area Technical College. Sean has two dogs, Yoshi and Lilly, and enjoys fishing, photography and cooking. A fun fact is that Sean is a third generation South High student, on his mother’s side of the family.
Week 13
Tiara Fair
Tiara is a senior at South High School. Her favorite class is Mrs. Cradduck’s ELO (Extended Learning Opportunity), which has been her ELO since her freshman year. She values the strong bond she’s built with her fellow ELO classmates, who have become almost like a second family. At school, Tiara is a member of the band, the Salina South twirling team and the soccer team. Outside of school, she stays active by going on runs and participating in club soccer and baton twirling. After graduation, Tiara plans to attend Kansas State University, where she will major in political science. A fun fact about her is that she enjoys watching and reviewing films.

Destiny Gonzalez-Keophaymany
Destiny is a senior at South High School. She appreciates all of her past and present teachers, along with the range of classes South offers. She is an active member of the Asian Student Union (ASU), the writing center and involved with the Tripodium, the school newspaper. Outside of school, she stays busy working two jobs, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to music. After graduation, Destiny plans to attend a four-year college and work towards becoming an attorney. Fun facts about Destiny include her interest in photography and that she has two cats.
Week 11
Landon is a senior at South High School. He is a member of both the football and baseball teams. At school, Landon enjoys being around his peers, socializing and having the opportunity to meet new people. Outside of school, he attends youth group, enjoys watching football and spending time with friends. After graduation, Landon plans to continue his football career and attend college. A fun fact about Landon is that he has a dog named Sox.
Week 10
Carson is a senior at South High School. He is involved with the STEM Center, is a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), and enjoys playing trivia with Mrs. Chamberlain for the gifted program. After graduation, Carson plans to attend the University of Kansas to study chemical engineering. Some fun facts about Carson are that he spends his free time skateboarding, listening to Frank Ocean and he has three dogs.
Week 9
Elizabeth Lovett
Elizabeth is a senior at South High School. Elizabeth’s favorite subject is math where she enjoys engaging in conversation and learning from her teachers. She especially enjoys talking with Mr. Ballenger and Mr Carlson and wants to give a shout out to them. At school, she is involved with debate, forensics and the STEM center. Outside of school, she works as a hostess at a restaurant. After graduation, Elizabeth plans to get her bachelors in mathematics and criminal justice and later plans to go to law school to become a criminal defense attorney. Some fun facts about Elizabeth are that she plays the guitar, has 2 dogs and he favorite show is Gossip Girl.
Week 8
Madison Durr
Madison is a senior at South High School. She plays golf, is on the track team and is involved with HOSA and FFA. Outside of school, Madison spends her time working and attending church. Madison enjoys her animal science and medical intern classes, as she has fantastic teachers and finds the material interesting. After graduation, Madison will attend college at Fort Hays State University to pursue nursing or animal science. Fact facts about Madison are that she has one younger sister and one younger brother. She also has a rottweiler and a bearded dragon.
Week 7
Haley Hemberger
Haley is a senior at South High School. Haley is a drum major in the band, a soccer manager and working on her CNA. Outside of school she attends church. Haley enjoys the size of South High, and she appreciates the variety of classes offered at SHS. Her favorite class is sports medicine with Mr. Wendell. After graduation, Haley plans to attend Wichita State University and pursue labor and delivery nursing. Some fun facts about Haley are that she has two older siblings that graduated from SHS, she previously did color guard in the band, plays the saxophone and loves doing her own nails at home.

Kaitlyn Geist
Kaitlyn is a senior at South High School. Kaitlyn’s favorite part about school is choir, she loves to sing and loves her choir community. She is involved with FCA, NHS, New Dawn, and is a member of the track and field team. Outside of school Kaitlyn is involved with youth group, in a worship band at her church, takes vocal lessons and is in The Sound of Music. After graduation, Kaitlyn plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University and major in worship studies. Fun facts about Kaitlyn are that she has two cats, Ollie and Harley, and she is a lifeguard.
Week 5
Danny Tso
Danny is a senior at South High School who is involved in student council, math relays and scholars bowl. Danny loves all of his teachers; he believes they are all very caring, understanding and loving. Outside of school Danny helps out with his family's business, The Great Wall. After graduation Danny plans on attending a four-year university. Some fun facts about Danny are that he is interested in math and physics and he plays the violin.
Week 4
Bethany Hicklin
Bethany is a senior at South High School. Bethany is a cheerleader, a member of the track & field team, in National Honor Society, involved in FCA and HOSA. Bethany loves Math and her AP Chemistry class this year. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Mann as she makes class enjoyable and engaging. Outside of school Bethany works as a CNA. She is also an active member of her church, where she works in the nursery and participates in youth group. In her free time, Bethany pole vaults and enjoys arts & crafts such as painting. Bethany plans to attend the University of Kansas and major in chemistry; afterward she plans on attending medical school. A fun fact about Bethany is that she has a Dachshund named Stella and an English Mastiff named Shadow.
Week 3
Sadie Xaysongkham
Sadie is a senior at South High School. She appreciates all of the conditioning and P.E. teachers for their dedication and genuine care in getting to know their students and engaging them in class. At school, Sadie is involved in the National Honor Society, FCA, Relay for Life, plays softball and volleyball and shows her school spirit in the Kilt Krew. Outside of school, Sadie is involved with kids' ministry at her church, is a babysitter and dog sitter, likes spending time with her family and friends and plays softball. After graduation, she will attend Fort Hays State University and study radiology. A fun fact about Sadie is that she loves doing her own and her friends' nails.
Week 2
Luke Matto
Luke is a senior at South High School. Luke’s favorite part about school is the positivity that is built within the school by the teachers, staff members and his classmates. He feels that the culture at Salina South shines brightly and has a strong sense of community. Luke is a member of the student council and the soccer team. Outside of school Luke spends his free time playing soccer, volunteering within the community, hanging out with his friends and family and going shopping for clothes. His plans after graduation include attending college and studying computer administrations or computer telecommunications, as well as continuing his soccer career. Some fun facts about Luke are that he
has seven dogs and three cats. He was also named on the 1st team 5A all-state soccer team in 2023 and named as a top 25 returning player to watch in 5A Kansas Soccer for the 2024 season.
Week 1
Natalie Brenneman
Natalie is a senior at South High School. Natalie is involved in National Honor Society, HOSA, Student Council, FCA, Band, Swimming and Tennis. Her favorite class this semester is cabinet making as it’s something totally new to her, but she also enjoys being a teacher aid for Ms. Mann. Outside of school Natalie is involved with her church, student ministry and working as a lifeguard and swim instructor. In her free time Natalie enjoys cheering on K-State Athletics and baking. Natalie’s plans after graduation are to attend Kansas State University and study social work/counseling.
