South High School’s 2023-2024 highlights include the establishment of a principal's advisory council and a student Cougar Pride award, as well as a boost in the number of student clubs. Key events like freshman orientation, Homecoming spirit week, parade, and dance brought everyone together. Notable achievements include Boys Bowling being named AVCTL Division 1 Champions, Girls Bowling winning the Saline County Tri Championship and Boys Soccer finishing third in the state with Coach Trey Crow named 5A Coach of the Year. We also began a new partnership with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Salina.
