Plated Desserts at Feast on the Fe

South High culinary interns showed off their skills by plating desserts for all participants in the 2025 Feast on the Fe in Downtown Salina.

Linda Edson's students were invited back once again this year due to their professionalism and high standards for creating a unique dessert experience to compliment this annual fundraising event for Local Food Works.

The dessert course consisted of a honey, goat cheese, and duck egg ice cream with blackberry compote, crispy elderberry meringue, and honeycomb candy.
